So it rained during my first day in Paris, scratched just one thing off the itinerary, fell in line to climb the Eiffel Tower for more than 3 hours (only to decide to not anymore go to the top floor due to the another long queue on the second floor), and my feet were covered with blisters from all the walking. But I’ve never loved anyone as much as I did that day. MLIA.

Je ne parle pas Francais.
That’s the only French statement that remained in my head after taking up French classes for one whole term back in college. It means “I do not speak French.” I thought that’s the only thing I’ll ever need if ever I get the chance to converse in French (and make the person talking to me speak in English). The stubborn college kid in me, I know. Now I wish I paid attention in all those French classes.
Anyway, just hyping Paris up. 30 days to go!

Pointless bragging: I know how to say that statement in three other foreign languages (Spanish, German, Italian). Ha!
Turning negativity (Je ne parle pas Francais) into positivity.
Parlez-vous Anglais?

Thanks to Google docs and Google maps, our very loose itinerary for Paris Day 1 is now done! And the Seine River Cruise at night is a part of it.
Planning over the weekend with the boyfriend (through Skype while marking places on Google maps, because we’re internet-savvy like that).
39 days to go before Paris! :)
